L&rsquo;LTC3246 utilizza una conversione commutata dei condensatori a modalit\u00e0 multipla per mantenere la regolazione su un ampio range di tensioni di ingresso da 2,7V a 38V e produce un&rsquo;uscita regolata di 3,3V, 5V o regolabile esternamente (da 2,5V a 5V). Il circuito interno seleziona automaticamente il rapporto di conversione (2:1, 1:1 oppure 1:2) per ottimizzare l&rsquo;efficienza al variare della tensione di ingresso e delle condizioni di carico. Il controllo dei tempi per il timeout di reset e il timeout del watchdog a finestra pu\u00f2 essere regolato tramite condensatori esterni sui pin RT e WT oppure fissato internamente tramite pin-strapping. La soglia precisa dell\u2019ingresso di reset pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata per il monitoraggio supplementare dell\u2019alimentazione oppure pu\u00f2 essere configurata come reset a pulsante. Altre funzionalit\u00e0 sono la stabilit\u00e0 con condensatori ceramici, la limitazione della corrente di foldback per impedire l&rsquo;eccessivo flusso di corrente durante l&rsquo;avvio, oltre alla protezione contro i cortocircuiti e alla protezione termica.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;LTC3246 \u00e8 disponibile in un package MSOP a 16 pin con funzionalit\u00e0 termiche avanzate.
