La corrente di riposo ultrabassa di soli 7\u00b5A rende il dispositivo ideale per i sistemi automotive always-on e altri sistemi industriali alimentati a batteria. L&rsquo;LT8494 funziona da un intervallo di tensione in ingresso compreso tra 2,5V e 32V e, una volta avviato, con tensioni da 1V a 60V. \u00c8 ideale per sorgenti di ingresso che vanno dalle batterie Li-Ion a singola cella agli ingressi delle applicazioni automotive. L&rsquo;LT8494 pu\u00f2 essere configurato come convertitore in modalit\u00e0 boost, SEPIC o flyback. La frequenza di commutazione pu\u00f2 essere programmata tramite un singolo resistore tra 250kHz e 1,5MHz, in modo da ridurre al minimo le dimensioni dei componenti esterni. Un design esclusivo a doppio pin di alimentazione (V<sub>IN<\/sub> e BIAS) consente al dispositivo di funzionare da un&rsquo;alimentazione ad alta efficienza, ottimizzando il rendimento in un ampio range di condizioni. L&rsquo;LT8494 \u00e8 in grado di funzionare con tensioni di alimentazione in ingresso fino a 60V per la topologia SEPIC e fino a 32V con protezione ride-through nelle topologie boost e flyback. Altre funzionalit\u00e0 includono il package fault-tolerant FMEA (TSSOP-20E), l&rsquo;indicatore power-good, il soft start programmabile e la protezione da shutdown termico.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;LT8494 \u00e8 disponibile in un package TSSOP-20 con funzionalit\u00e0 termiche avanzate.
