Funziona a una frequenza fissa selezionabile da 50kHz a 900kHz e pu\u00f2 essere sincronizzato su un clock esterno da 75kHz a 850kHz. Con carichi bassi gli utenti possono decidere di impostare una modalit\u00e0 a scelta tra funzionamento continuo, modalit\u00e0 a salto d&rsquo;impulsi e Burst Mode<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> a basso ripple. L&rsquo;architettura in current mode di questo dispositivo assicura la compensazione del loop, una rapida risposta ai transitori e un&rsquo;eccellente regolazione di linea. Il rilevamento della corrente di uscita avviene misurando la caduta di tensione sull&rsquo;induttore di uscita (DCR) per la massima efficienza, oppure utilizzando un resistore di rilevamento opzionale. Il foldback della corrente limita la dissipazione del calore del MOSFET in condizioni di sovraccarico. Altre funzioni includono l&rsquo;on-time minimo a 95ns per elevati rapporti di step-down ad alta frequenza, il duty cycle fino al 99% per basse cadute di tensione, un LDO interno che alimenta i gate driver e un segnale di power good.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;LTC3807 \u00e8 disponibile in package QFN da 20 pin e 3 x 4mm e TSSOP da 20 conduttori, entrambi con caratteristiche termiche avanzate. Sono disponibili quattro versioni con differenti intervalli di temperature: da -40 a 125\u00b0C per le versioni estesa e industriale, da -40\u00b0C a 150\u00b0C per le applicazioni automotive ad alte temperature e da -55\u00b0C a 150\u00b0C per le applicazioni\u00a0militari.
