Grazie al funzionamento in un range di tensioni di ingresso compreso tra 4,5V e 15V, questo dispositivo \u00e8 ideale per le applicazioni alimentate con batterie agli ioni di litio a doppia cella, nonch\u00e9 per i sistemi bus intermedi da 5 e 12V. L&#8217;architettura in current mode offre un&#8217;eccellente risposta di linea e alla corrente transitoria di carico. I due canali funzionano sfasati di 180 gradi, riducendo al minimo le dimensioni del condensatore di ingresso. Il funzionamento Burst Mode<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> ottimizza l&#8217;efficienza con carico leggero, in quanto richiede solo 55\u00b5A senza carico; il dispositivo \u00e8 pertanto adatto anche per le applicazioni a batteria con elevati requisiti di durata e risposta alla corrente transitoria del carico. Per le applicazioni che richiedono invece un funzionamento con il minor livello di rumore possibile, l&#8217;LTC3607 pu\u00f2 essere configurato per il funzionamento in modalit\u00e0 a salto d&#8217;impulsi, con una conseguente riduzione dei disturbi e delle potenziali interferenze RF. Altre caratteristiche includono il monitoraggio della tensione con il segnale power good, la compensazione interna, la funzione soft-start indipendente per ciascun canale e la protezione dai cortocircuiti.<\/p>\n<p>La versione LTC3607EUD \u00e8 disponibile in un package QFN-16 da 3 x 3mm, mentre l&#8217;LTC3607EMSE \u00e8 offerto in un package MSOP a 16 conduttori con funzionalit\u00e0 termiche avanzate.
