L&#8217;utente, in presenza di carichi limitati, pu\u00f2 selezionare tra le modalit\u00e0 di funzionamento pulse-skipping o Burst Mode. L\u2019architettura a controllo di corrente assicura una semplice compensazione del loop, una risposta rapida ai transitori e una regolazione di linea eccellente. Il sense di corrente \u00e8 realizzato misurando la caduta di tensione sull&#8217;induttore in uscita (DCR) per la massima efficienza, oppure utilizzando una resistenza di sense opzionale. Un periodo minimo di ON di appena 100ns permette di ottenere rapporti elevati di step-down a frequenze di commutazione elevate. La limitazione foldback della corrente riduce la dissipazione termica del MOSFET in condizioni di sovraccarico. Ulteriori funzionalit\u00e0 di protezione includono: segnale di alimentazione valida in uscita, blocco regolabile della sovratensione in ingresso e soft start.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019LTC3894 \u00e8 disponibile in un package TSSOP a 16 pin termicamente migliorato, con distanza tra i pin per alte tensioni.
