L&#8217;intervallo di tensione in ingresso compreso tra 3,3V e 36V rende questo dispositivo ideale per una vasta gamma di applicazioni, inclusa l&#8217;illuminazione industriale\/architettonica e la proiezione DLP. L&#8217;LT3744 utilizza due MOSFET di commutazione esterni che forniscono fino a 20A (80W) di corrente LED continua da un ingresso nominale a 12V. Consentendo a V<sub>EE<\/sub> di variare verso tensioni negative, \u00e8 possibile gestire diversi LED da un&#8217;unica batteria Li-Ion con una singola fase di uscita step-down. Inoltre, questo rende possibile un&#8217;esclusiva topologia di inversione step-down che consente di utilizzare un singolo dissipatore di calore comune per gli anodi dei LED RGB. Un pin di regolazione della frequenza consente all&#8217;utente di programmare la frequenza tra 100kHz e 1MHz per ottimizzare il rendimento, riducendo al tempo stesso la dimensione dei componenti esterni. In combinazione con il package QFN da 5 x 6mm, l&#8217;LT3744 \u00e8 un driver LED da 80 Watt estremamente compatto.<\/p>\n<p>Il dispositivo consente sia il dimming PWM che CTRL, supportando rapporti di dimming di 3.000:1 a quattro livelli di corrente LED, caratteristica che rende il dispositivo particolarmente adatto per le applicazioni di color mixing, come, ad esempio, quelle richieste dai proiettori DLP. Analogamente, l&#8217;esclusiva topologia consente il passaggio tra due livelli di corrente LED regolata in meno di 2\u00b5s per una combinazione pi\u00f9 precisa dei colori nelle applicazioni RGB. La precisione di \u00b13% della corrente LED viene mantenuta per garantire la massima luminosit\u00e0 della luce emessa dal LED. Altre funzionalit\u00e0 includono la regolazione della tensione di uscita e la protezione contro LED aperto e in cortocircuito, indicatore di guasto per uscita open-drain, sincronizzazione della frequenza e shutdown termico.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;LT3744 viene fornito in un package QFN da 36 pin, di 5 x 6mm.
