L&#8217;LT8570 utilizza uno switch interno da 500mA, 65V, mentre l&#8217;LT8570-1 ne utilizza uno da 250mA, 65V. Entrambi i dispositivi funzionano in un range di tensioni compreso tra 2,55V e 40V e sono pertanto ideali sia per le applicazioni alimentate con batterie Li-Ion a singola cella che per quelle del settore automotive. \u00c8 possibile configurare l&#8217;LT8570 e l&#8217;LT8570-1 come convertitori in modalit\u00e0 boost, SEPIC o inverter. Lo switch pi\u00f9 piccolo dell&#8217;LT8570-1 consente l&#8217;impiego di un induttore di dimensioni inferiori nelle applicazioni a bassa corrente. Entrambi i componenti offrono una frequenza di commutazione programmabile tra 200kHz e 1,5MHz, cosa che permette ai progettisti di ridurre al minimo le dimensioni dei componenti esterni. Il blocco della sottotensione (UVLO) pu\u00f2 essere regolato dall&#8217;utente per ottenere prestazioni ottimali del sistema. Inoltre, un singolo resistore di feedback imposta la tensione di uscita, riducendo al minimo il numero di componenti esterni. Altre funzionalit\u00e0 includono la sincronizzazione esterna, il soft-start interno, la protezione contro lo shutdown termico e la possibilit\u00e0 di utilizzo nelle applicazioni SEPIC e che richiedono un\u2019inversione della tensione in ingresso.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;LT8570\/-1 \u00e8 disponibile in un package DFN-8 di 3 x 3mm e in un package MSOP-8 con funzionalit\u00e0 termiche avanzate.
