Questo standard creato dal Dipartimento della Difesa statunitense specifica le caratteristiche di steady state e tensione transitoria dell&#8217;alimentatore da 28V DC di un veicolo militare da terra. In presenza di picchi di corrente transitori e forme d&#8217;onda di ripple specificate dallo standard MIL-STD-1275D, il DC2150A limita la tensione di uscita al valore sicuro di 44V. Per la maggior parte delle applicazioni, soddisfare i requisiti di questo standard implica semplicemente il posizionamento del circuito DC2150A davanti a un dispositivo con tolleranza di 44V. I MOSFET a canale N sono protetti contro i sovraccarichi in uscita dalla limitazione della corrente. Condizioni sostenute di sovratensione o sovracorrente disattivano il circuito trascorso il ritardo del timer; il circuito viene riattivato automaticamente dopo un ciclo di raffreddamento. Il circuito di protezione termica disattiva il MOSFET controllato dall&#8217;LT4363 quando la sua temperatura supera i 105<sup>o<\/sup>C.<\/p>\n<p>Il DC2150A offre quattro opzioni di assemblaggio (da DC2150A-A a DC2150A-D), in funzione della corrente di carico massima e della possibilit\u00e0 di gestire una tensione di picco di 100V della durata di 500ms. I costi dei componenti nella distinta materiali (BOM) si riducono in quanto i vari modelli di scheda eliminano funzioni di protezione non necessarie. \u00c8 disponibile solo il modello dotato di ogni funzionalit\u00e0, il DC2150A-C, al prezzo di $150,00\/cad.
