L&#8217;analisi rivela una fase di ripresa complessa, con le vendite unitarie in crescita dello 0,3% nonostante una domanda debole nei principali mercati del Nord Europa. Il settore FMCG \u00e8 cresciuto del 4,4% nell&#8217;ultimo anno, raggiungendo un valore di 673 miliardi di euro, rispetto ai 636 miliardi del 2024 (per i 12 mesi fino a giugno 2024 rispetto al periodo precedente).<\/p>\n<p>Secondo i risultati, la crescita del settore FMCG nei mercati EMEA \u00e8 sostenuta da solide performance in Spagna e Italia, dove il consumo domestico e un clima favorevole per gli investimenti stanno accelerando la ripresa. In tutto il continente, la forza delle MDD continua a rimodellare le dinamiche competitive, lasciando comunque spazi di crescita per i brand tradizionali. Le categorie alimentari e non alimentari \u201csentono\u201d l&#8217;impatto delle innovazioni dei retailer, che migliorano la qualit\u00e0 e puntano su sostenibilit\u00e0 e disponibilit\u00e0, elementi centrali per la trasformazione delle MDD.<\/p>\n<p>Anche se lo slancio delle MDD dovrebbe rallentare nel 2025, l&#8217;analisi di Circana spiega che i brand possono rimanere competitivi concentrandosi su innovazioni mirate e ottimizzando assortimenti e gamme al di l\u00e0 delle promozioni. Collaborazioni strategiche, edizioni limitate, crescita delle categorie e premiumizzazione offrono opportunit\u00e0 ai brand per rafforzare la propria proposta di valore. Per i brand capaci di sfruttare queste strategie, ci sono prospettive di crescita interessanti, specialmente nei segmenti adiacenti e in quelli premium emergenti.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cambiamenti nel panorama retail e intensificazione della competizione<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mentre la concorrenza si intensifica attraverso i canali, supermercati e ipermercati continuano a dominare le vendite di generi alimentari, raggiungendo il 71% della quota di mercato. Tuttavia, gli ipermercati stanno faticando ad adattarsi ai cambiamenti nelle preferenze dei consumatori, registrando un calo uniforme delle vendite discrezionali tra i vari canali.<\/p>\n<p>I negozi di prossimit\u00e0 e i discount continuano a essere meta ideale per gli acquisti essenziali.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prospettive per il 2025: bilanciare crescita e volatilit\u00e0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Guardando al futuro, le previsioni per il 2025 indicano che la crescita sostenuta nel settore FMCG affronter\u00e0 sfide legate a prezzi elevati, volatilit\u00e0 e domanda disomogenea, che ostacolano la crescita sostenibile di unit\u00e0 e volumi. I fattori macroeconomici continuano a esercitare pressione, trainati da instabilit\u00e0 geopolitica, prezzi delle materie prime volatili, alti tassi di interesse e crescita salariale. \u201c<em>Il contesto economico rimane altamente vincolato,<\/em>\u201d spiega Roy \u201c<em>Una combinazione di fattori macroeconomici introduce nuovi rischi che continuano a sfidare il settore FMCG<\/em>.\u201d che conclude:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Le vendite in valore saranno probabilmente guidate dall&#8217;inflazione, poich\u00e9 le vendite in volume rimangono deboli a causa di fattori come il rischio crescente di disoccupazione, un consumo pi\u00f9 consapevole e una limitata capacit\u00e0 di spesa.
